The Culinary Council is a student-driven program developed by Sodexo that creates an engaged, responsive relationship with students to help build a more fulfilling student dining experience.
The Council focuses meeting topics in order to define and refine Gorilla Dining. We do this through four key aspects at the core of this initiative:
- Talk - Students learn about what is great about Gorilla Dining
- Taste - Members try new and exciting dishes that showcase dining locations on campus
- Learn - Members learn about food, trends, nutrition, and more
- Share - Members then share what they have learned with others
A Culinary Council redefines the relationship of traditional dining committees, enhancing student awareness, campus opinion and messaging regarding dining on campus. The Council also creates a vehicle for sharing the story about campus dining with others and allows the dining team to respond to student needs before they become more substantial campus issues.
